The Cambridge Area Chamber of Commerce welcomes the oil and gas industry to Guernsey County! The chamber's oil and gas coalition meets the first Thursday of every month at 9am at the Southgate Hotel. Open to Chamber members, this informative series of meetings bring our community together with representatives from the industry to discuss current issues and provide information about the shale play here in eastern Ohio.

Chamber of Commerce accepting nominations for Sidlo Award
The Cambridge Area Chamber of Commerce is accepting nominations for the annual Sidlo Award. The deadline for submission is November 30, 2012. The award will be presented December 13th at the Business After Hours at People’s Bank in downtown Cambridge.
The Sidlo Award recognizes individuals for lifetime achievement demonstrating Vision, Leadership, and Legacy. The award is named after John Sidlo, a previous Chamber president, whose vision and leadership during the years of the depression, eventually lead to an incredible legacy of growth during one of the worst economic decades the nation has ever experienced.
Nominations should be submitted in writing and include biographical data and/or noteworthy accomplishments to be used as selection consideration, to the Cambridge Area Chamber of Commerce at 607 Wheeling Avenue, Cambridge, OH 43725; by fax to 740-439-6689; or by email to info@cambridgeohiochamber.com.
